Panthertown are a four-piece Americana band based in Asheville, NC, formed by singer-songwriter Chad Jordan, folk guitarist Jesse Young, veteran country and rock bassist Karl Knutson, and ex-punk drummer Valentine Paluck. Their style is a gritty, expressive blend of country, folk, and rock, bringing together influences from roots rock artists like Neil Young and Uncle Tupelo, as well as the traditional music of Appalachia and the energy of punk and alternative rock. Thier first EP, Now You Know, is slated for an independent release in 2023.

With up to 3 hours of originals and covers, Panthertown have been frequently featured as the monthly resident band at both The Root Bar and Town Pump Tavern. The band has also performed at the annual Greening Up the Mountains Festival, Boojum Brewing, 185 King St and other venues across the Western North Carolina region.
